みどころ

　当館は「本部の文化と自然」を基本テーマにしている。第一展示室は「本部の暮らしと文化」をサブテーマに貝塚からの出土品や民具等の生活資料を復元した民家の中に展示、第二展示室は「本部の海　-サンゴ礁の生き物たち-」をテーマにサンゴや貝の標本を中心にサンゴ礁を住み家とするさまざまな生物たち、サンゴ礁の海と人々との関わり、海の汚染に関する資料などを展示している。第三展示室では「本部の自然」をサブテーマに昆虫類を中心に、本部に生息する動植物の標本など本部の豊かな自然が概観できるように展示してある。

　"Nature and Culture in Motobu"is our main theme,and we have also three sub-themes in each section,"Way of life and Culture ",The sea,Creatures in Coral reef",and "Nature in Motobu"
　In Section 1,you can observe stone implements,axes,and many fragments of earthen wares which were excavated in Shellmonds of Motobu. In Section 2,you can observe many Sea shells and Creatures which live in Coral reefs. In Section 3,you can observe plenty of specimens of plants,animals,and insects.
